They have great specials and they're just down the street from me. I ordered the $1 tacos and they were pretty good. They obviously don't compare to other taco places in the area, but they ARE better than Taco Bell! I would love to come back and try more options.
I'd give this place 5 stars but it was a little slow getting our drinks and my cup of chilli, BUT the food was amazing, the service was very friendly, and it was very cozy! Will be coming back!
After watching the Bar Rescue episode the wife and I thought we would give it a try otherwise would have never thought of going there not to mention it was a 25 mile drive. A pleasant Saturday afternoon drive following Thanksgiving. Tara was the bartender and we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Ordered the nachos and they were very good. White cheddar cheese and homemade nachos chips came out in 5 minutes. More then enough for the two of us. Draft beer nice and cold and got a clean glass on our refill without asking, don't normally see that. Wish more bars did. My only issue is with the bathrooms, they need a little bit of work. Keep up the good work. If in the area will stop by again
My wife and I made our first visit to the "Lodge/Rooster" last night. Our dinner (Whiskey Salmon) was outstanding. Kudos to Chef Mike on the perfectly prepared Salmon and his Whiskey Sauce, well done Mike! Our Server, Ellie, was attentive, personality + and professional. We WILL be back.
